Hi, I'm Doug Mascaritola Owner and Operator of Performance Unlimited located at 23 Cindy Lane, Ocean, NJ. I have been designing and building high performance engines in the tri-state area Since 1978 with 100% customer satisfaction. I am committed in maintaining my reputation through building the finest performance engine available on the market today. Now with the ability of the internet, I can now offer my personal service to everyone in building your "DREAM PERFORMANCE ENGINE"

I started learning the skills of my trade at age 14 from a former (Drag Racing Champion). Working in a family owned business I became head machinist and crate engine builder. I have literally built thousands of performance engines in my lifetime. So if you are going to make an investment in a performance engine you want to make sure the person you choose has the experience and knowledge to build your Ford, Chevy, Or Pontiac engine. Not all engine builders can build high performance engines. There is a lot more in technical design of and engine than just picking out parts, that is why with my skills and knowledge I will personally work one on one with you to design the proper crate engine for your vehicle.

Let me tell you about my right hand man Steve who has worked by my side for the past five years stripping and cleaning engines and doing some of the machine work. He is also in charge of sales, parts and shipping. Most of all Steve is responsible for bringing Proformance Unlimited to the internet and assisting customers like you.

I take great pride and care in each and every performance engine I assemble at my facility. All machine work is performed at our high performance machine shop. We also offer engine installation by my brother Ron who has 18 years experience in the field. So when every engine leaves my shop it will deliver optimum performance and power with my personal guarantee, I also offer the finest "DROP IN READY" for your Muscle Car Engine. And for all those Classic Car enthusiasts we can ship your engine to our shop to restore the original luster leaving your engine looking like brand new with original serial and casting numbers in tact to keep the cars maximum value.
